:) Hello people, wazzup!

I was wondering, can Marea console, the one between the seats,(I think it's called the centre cosnole) fit to Brava?

If yes, how? Are the holes on the console the same? Dop I need to change it some how? Cutting, drilling....

It has a little trunk and you can rest your arm on it so I wanna install it on my Brava. My Brava is ELX with electric mirrors so I need that kind of console with the switches.

Has anyone tried to install this? And if so, is there some pictures so I can see how it looks?

I'm very thankful for the any kind of information about this issue.

PEACE people and stay good! :slayer:

are your leccy window controls not on the doors? if not you will have trouble. Just get a cubby hole from ebay that attaches.

I don't know what is leccy windows but I asume that is the mirrors on the doors to look back??? It is positioned on the console like in every other Brava/Bravo/Marea who have the electric side mirrors. I hope it is quite easy because I really like the console and you can put the CD's also as I heard. Great!!! The worst thing is that I'm not from countries where I can buy from Ebay, I'm from Bosnia & Herzegovina, if you know where it is, but I will find it somewhere.
Thanks for the tips people! (y)

Yep they definately fit. You will require afew modifications to the heating pipes and mounting brackets. But they do fit.

Oh my God, that is fuc... nice!!! I love it! So you say that is easy to fit, I like that. But, the first thing to do is to find a Marea console, and it will be hard... :( In my country not many people do have these kind of cars so it is hard to find one that is wrecked or to find a console that is avaliable alone. :(

But i will try because ot looks great!

Thnx

Yes its fairly simple to fit. If you get all the backets for the console (Some will be the same on the Bravo/a) then it should be easy to fit. The only tricky bit is the heating pipes that run underneath the console. They dont exactly hit the outlets under the dash so you need to custom fit them. Approx 30mins of a job. Its alot easier to remove one front seat to fit the console.

Not sure if your aware of this but the last Brava's off the production line especially the high spec models, came with the marea console as standard.

i think the marea console will look out of place the bravo anyway it doesn't really follow the lines of the dash.

Savage the Dash in the MArea and Bravo/a are identical. Dont know how you worked that one out.

Yes, they are identical. But I don't know if the Bravo is smaller from the inside, it is smaller from the outside.:p But I think that it could fit perfectly in Brava or Bravo. I was on the highway/motorway a few days ago and I needed to put somewhere my right arm (in your case your left arm because I'm from Bosnia) so if I had the Marea console I would have a place where I could rest my arm... :D You see how it is functional!? And I attend to put a little fridge where you put the CD's in Marea console! (y) I will make a hole where I will lead the pipe from the cooling system. And if you want to turn on the heating system, you don't need to heat up the drink or something, you just close the pipe with something that I will make too. Isn't that great!? :D But before I do all that I HAVE TO FIND A MAREA CONSOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bang:

I'm not angry...

Peace

i'm a little confused but very interested, how are you going to make it a cooler? i want that! talk about all mod cons!

To be fair its such a small space I wouldn't bother. Once you've lagged it and put coolant pipes around it the space will only just be big enough for a chocolate bar. Plus you have to put a radiator and compressor somewhere. Then there is the expence. If you want a cooler then get a 12v camping fridge and bungee it into the boot. As for somewhere to put your right(left) arm...

..how about the wheel :p

I don't know how will I do that, I mean the fridge. That's my brothers idea, he saw it in my uncles Mercedes so... He want this in our Brava. I don't know how big is the boot of the console so when I get one I'll try to make something out of it. I too think that it's a waste of time putting the fridge but my brother is crazy so I0ll have to help him. :D

Ohh, I can put my arm on the wheel but for how long??? If you drive for 3 hours it is a long ride to hold the wheel with both hands all the time.

But if I install the console and install the fridge I'll let you know, surely!

PEACE
