I've been checking out pics on the internet of Bravo's most of the night, I'm sure I saw a Bravo with chrome door handles, just can't remember the website?! I'm having the 'cracked door handles' problem like many others, so if anyone knows where I can get these I'd be very grateful!

As far as I know the chrome door handles are simply the standard ones with the black plastic removed.

I have this problem on my Brava and I'm planning on replacing the handles with Marea ones painted the same colour as my car.

They also fit !!!

Hi, just ben given a price from Alfa Romeo for a pair of chrome door handles (off an Alfa Romeo 147), about £100. Does anyone have any tips or guides on how to change the handles?

Is the Alfa 147 handles a straight swap, or do the doors need some work done to them???
I've also brought this issue up on www.fiatklubdanmark.dk but no one over here seems to know...

I'm glad this has come up again as I need new doorhandles too. Sadly I need 4 of the things so it looks like an expensive shopping trip for me next month. Am off to the local Fiat/ AR dealer so will ask them and see if they know about door mods etc. (they'll prob say just buy some Marea ones but one can but ask). I'd much rather have chromey ones than silver sprayed ons .

Fiat/ AR parts man has just had a look at them for me. Apparently it is possible as they are the same size, but since the AR handle has an extra bolt (or something), the Brava/o door will need a bit of work to get it on right. Strangely enough, no-one had ever asked them this before....

Think I'll go for sprayed Marea ones then....

Aye, chop a bit off and file it down and it seems to fit fine (so says my wee Bro who has done one at work this week). He's doing mine for me next . There is a guide somewhere showing you the whole process using Marea handles, think it's in the modding bit of BOO.

yeah but the chopping and filing is work aint it! i aint gonna mess it up am i? is it simple cos chopping and filing sounds quite bad to me!! wot am i choppin and filing??!! ive never done anything like this before and dont wanna mess it up! should i get em sprayed chrome or ink black the same as my car??!!
