Further to my recent waterpump/cambelt failure question, i've got the exhaust manifold and other bits off but am now left with the inlet to remove to allow head removal. The manual says to depressurise the fuel system first..is that a neccesity or just a safety precaution? Also, can i just remove th8 inlet nuts and push the whole lot back or have i got to remove it all? I see the air intake from the filter has crimped clips holding it in several places, if these are removed can they be replaced with jubilee (worm drive?) clips??

Cheers...Andre

I should think your fuel line was depressurised by now anyway

I'm pretty sure you can can just disconnect and push it far enough out the way
