I need a new exhaust for my 155 HGT as the rear mounting point has snapped off from corrosion.

I want to put a performance exhaust on it, nothing too loud, just subtle but liberating more power. Anyone got any ideas of where I should start looking?

Best bet is to go to one of those garages where there they make them to your needs, usually not to expensive, unlike a genuine fiat exhaust for the 155 hgt. If got the cash go for a stainless exhaust.

Hmm, not sure whether to go that route (there's a Powerflow dealer in Derby), or buy a pre fabricated system. The only one I've managed to find that's cat back is a Magnex, which looks like it's just what I want.

The only 'concern' I'd have is that the Magnex would be designed for the car, and although the Powerflow would be custom made for the car, it might not be engineered for it (if this makes sense!).

Anyone had any experience of Powerflow exhausts?

I haven't used powerflow but when i was looking i was told by most people that powerflow exhausts are only really as good as the garage you get it from. That is why i went for a supersprint because at least i know they have put effort in testing the exhausts for each car.
I didn't know magnex did a cat back for the bravo, would say that i am well pleased with my Supersprint it was about £300 but isn't stainless. Not to loud though, nice and meaty (and pops a bit):D

Cheers mate. I think I'll get the Supersprint as it will have been developed for the car.

Got an email back from Magnex saying they don't make one for the 155,(although http://www.bravo-guide.co.uk/mod-a-bravo gives a product code, Magnex knew nothing about it..)

Q Toy - Where did you get your Supersprint from, and what was the fit like?

Cheers

I got it from a shop near me called motorscope but they are available from

It is a good fit but be carefull where it attaches to the CAT i didn't expand the connection before i got it hung under the car, bastard took ages after that but if i sorted it before i hung it it would have been on in a jiffy.

Whadya mean by:

"It is a good fit but be carefull where it attaches to the CAT i didn't expand the connection before i got it hung under the car"

Is it not a flange joint?

No on mine it slides over the end of the CAT and you close the joint up with a clamp.
