Hi, every time I turn the ignition key to the first click, the injection/ignition system fuse blows. I've put in 3 new fuses (20A) and the same thing happens. Does anyone know what may be the problem?

Cheers

Cheers. I put a new fuel pump in and still the same problem. Sorry, forgot to mention that in my post. Also put a new relay in too

You could unplug the wiring harness from the fuel pump then test each pin on the wiring loom for continuity between the car body. Obviously only the ground pin should have continuity with the car body if the other pins do then there is a short in a wire somewhere.

Obviously there are lots of other places it could be shorting out as well. You could do the same type of test in other areas, on the fuse's pins and the relays pins.

What engine and year of car do you have? I may be able to get a wiring diagram.

You could have a look under the back seat base and under the boot carpet at the fuel pump wiring to check if it is damaged.
