The wipers are just Bosch ones with the spoilers on them. I didn't know that about the washer jets so thanks, will certainly do the conversion as the originals are rubbish as you know...

Nice paint! What are the wipers taken from? I really like them. You know that the new fiat bravo washer jets fit our Bravo's

Side by side comparison.

The car looks fantastic, plus all that special stuff hidden away inside waiting to be unleashed...

Is that the original colour? I don't really remember greys on the Brava / Bravo although I guess if yours is a Mk1 it might be Metallic Degas Grey (623).

Didn't Adrian Bravo have a 1.4 in that colour?

Anyway (y) :slayer:

The bonnet stays closed to replicate road conditions.

The fan that is used for cooling on the rolling road is so powerful that If the bonnet was open it would be thrown into the windscreen...

Very nice... but I think that even with bonnet vents I'd have had the bonnet open when caning it on a rolling road!

Have been having some fun in the car over the last few months and adding some extras.

The ash tray has now been converted for a Barnacle Widget which currently reads the accelerator position, water temperature, air intake temperature and lambda readings. The switch next to it is for the boost control which switches between low boost, rising boost and high boost.

We have also added the wiring and switch for an intercooler sprayer. The switch for this is adjustable (in car near footwell) according to boost. We have wired it to the headlight washer pump. We have still to run the pipework for the jets which will be mounted in front of the intercooler. The dashboard has a turbo light which is used in other turbo diesel models for overboost. We have wired this in to know when the sprayer activates.

I took the car to Santa pod for a Saturday night special recently. Unfortunately the clutch could not handle the torque, so the run was unsuccessful. Over the winter we will be fitting a Helix uprated organic clutch kit which should be up to the job.

You have made me miss my HGT now. Looks tidy was there an abarth body kit for the original bravo? Keep the five pot going it really does sound lovely at high revs. Never had the coupe turbo in mine mind.
