Hi i hope i will get someone to help on this. my car is fiat brava 2001 model engine 182B6000. i want to buy used engine is possible to get one.
what would be an avarage weight of the engine.

I dont know Fiats as such but there are many crash cars in breakers and they sell these engines if they have one
Alternatively there is agents who sell reconditioned engines and normally you send your old engine to them and buy the reconditioned engine .
Its not often that people will replace a 2001 engine as the cars value will be low at that age .Often easier and cheaper to buy the same car and swop the engines across if your old car is in better condition .You dont say where you are from .Italy would be swimming in these engines .Cost to export it to UK would be interesting if your UK based . Engines like this tend to heavy.

What is wrong with original engine as maybe replacement parts would fix it cheaper than another engine .

What part of the world are you in ??

Some modern cars like Volvo and most modern Europe cars need to talk to computer ssytem using unigue codess .Example on Volvo replacement Headlights from another car from scrap yard will probably not work as they are not the correct code for computer to talk too. It need the OEM and the cars VIN to set the computer code inside the headlight for the headlight unit to work .
I dont Know what is the story for early 2000 era Fiat engines but there might be computer control issues involved as well to consider
