(G) Strange reg dates ?

I'm getting a Brava next week, I was looking at a few things and am a little puzzled.

Its a 99 on a T so that should be between March and August of 99 but DVLA are saying it was first registered septmber 2001

It also apears to be a mark 1 but didnt they change to mk 2's in Feb 99 ?

Could it be a private plate? What does the previous owner have to say?

did they not convert to the new style plate in 2001 tho??

i think it must be a DVLA muck up!

look at the documents it came with, as its usually written somewhere when the car was colleceted by the first owner

I'll have to see what the log book says when it arrives.

Just seemed strange, thought someone might have some ideas.
