(G) The Love Of My Life!!!

My bravo has finally died on me (well almost) i think i need a new engine as the camshaft may have gone and it will cost me about 300 fitted and about 450 for a recon engine fitted so im thinking of going for that, everyone keeps telling me to sell it or SCRAP IT but i just can't bear to part with it, so its just sitting there now not doing anything what should i do if i did sell it id end up buying another one!!!!!!!
Its not too bad as i am driving round in my other halfs alfa 156 which is quiet nice but i do miss my bravo

Is it 300 to have the damaged parts repaired? If so thats a bargain - and you won't get a replacement Bravo for 300!

that is true but i think the car is on its arse and i think if i got an engine i hopefully wont have to do much more to it

Main point is you know its history - how many people can say that when they come to buy a replacement car?! Thats the reason I chose to keep the tipo and replace the front dampers+springs, rear dampers+springs, rear arm pivots, front lower arms, front discs and calipers, bias valve and hydraulic pipes, clutch, clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, thermostat, water pump, exhaust system and alloys.. phew!

what engine does your bravo have ? everyone says the 1.4 12v is a crap engine if its that

it has the 1.4 and yes it is crap!!!!!! i wish someone had told me that before i bought it its a bag of ****e
