Either :)

I may possibly be considering a Bravo/a TD or JTD (JTD probably out of my league unless I get very lucky) basically just wondered if the TD 75 felt very under powered or not, whether common things go wrong with them, how they are on the fuel etc.

75 seems to go for less than the 100 for obvious reasons.

I must be the only diesel owner on here then,
Own a 1.9 jtd bravo for about two years now and found it fantastic, great on fuel avaraging 430 to 500 miles per tank not driving slow, boot most of the time full of tools and gear was quite quick untill recently (I think MAF sensor needs replacing) great car to drive with plenty of torque

This car had 27000 mile when I got it now has 65000 only problem I have had was temp gauge reading high, replaced thermostat which was about £50.00 only to find the connections on the rear of the temp gauge were causing the fault not the thermostat :(

Thanks Paul, I reckon even if I get lucky on ebay, the JTD will be out of my league :(

When one comes up locally I am going to look at it, it will be an uphill struggle to persuade my grandfather to like it due to his bad experience with Fiat and his good experiences with French diesels.

Hi Sammi,

I can get around 50 mpg / over 500 miles to a full tank on the regular drive to work in my TD100. dont think it makes much difference if you boot it or take it easy.. I wouldnt bother with a TD75, i think they are rare enough anyway.

hi RuDoneIn here .My brava td100 elx is a superb drive recently on hols managed 570+ with heavy load 2adults +1 child and at the speed we was going no penalty points . {touch wood} . Would recommend K+N flat panel filter you can notice the difference .Cheerie RuDoneIn :)

Yeah will agree with that. I spent a week thrashing it about and a week driving like i had a bomb on the parcel shelf... hardly noticed any change in MPG.

Yo.. JTD owner.... its a 105jtd... does about 52MPG.. get about 400 miles to a tank.. and it's as quick at a HGT 0-60!!!

Hi mate, just a quick question - if you get 400 miles from a full tank and get 52 mpg then your fuel tank is only 35 litres and it must cost you about £32-35 to fill up?????

Not questioning you, just thought thats a small fuel tank. My Marea 110sx JTD gets about 45mpg and about 550 miles from a tank

ok.. thoses figures don't add up.. sorry..

the tank is 50 letres... and will do 500miles on that.. nearly 600 if u drive accordingly..

im only getting about 400miles tho.. but thats because i drive it hard...

so im getting around 40-42MPG.... (y)

bravo td 100...thought from empty was 55litre tank??? what does the book say??( i havent got one)..
parkers car guide is showing 54mpg.... havent done a full tank as yet as i have just bought her...so i guess i should be going on for 550miles...
Thoughts???
