So this is just a question I have in my head. So my bravo is in orange, but I'm 100% sure its been resprayed in the last couple of years, the paint job is quite perfect so its impossible that its 14 year old paint. But heres the catch, yesterday I met an orange punto mk2 owner and I asked him about the colour, his was surely original as he was the single owner of the vehicle but when the cars where alongside each other, the colour is clearly a different shade, mine is much more flaky/metallic looking, it changes colour from orange in the sun to mud brown at night (its a beautiful colour btw). My concern is if I'm to respray a bumper and the original 516 colour won't even be close. Did the bravos go out with a different orange than the punto's? I dont know the colour code for the punto and I don't know another orange bravo owner locally.

I got two rosso baroccos (124/b), brava and marea.
They look different in the sun.
Also the other one looks like it was tailgating WRC car on gravel road.

You don't make it clear if the Bravo and Punto had EXACTLY the same paint codes stamped on the body... I wouldn't assume that the 2 car ranges shared exact colours (well not all..).

I remember that the 90s Barchetta had a lovely bronze / orange colour available. Maybe the respray was done in that, or a Vauxhall Corsa colour!
