Hi Everyone,
I have a 2002 Bravo JTD which has just failed it's MOT on a corroded front subframe.
Does anybody know of one that is available?

Cheers,
Mike

Unfortunately there notorious for it! My last bravo was at near failure and my current Bravo is starting too look non to clever.
You struggle to find one any where to buy, its a case of trawling round breakers yards and hoping you come across one thats not had too much salt exposure.
Then hoping they dont charge you too much too remove it.
I've posted about it in the past and I remember some one saying theres a crossover wpart ith an Alfa, but this didnt seem to ring true.
Have a search on past posts and good luck.

You need to try one of these "partsfinder" websites where breakers around the country will respond to your request.

The Brava / Bravo subframes are common to the Marea as well as the older Tipo / Tempra and I think Alfa 145/146.

Worst case you could drop it and refurb it....

Have been sifting through Eper and it is the same part on Marea's and Alfa 145/146, thing with the Alfas is that there an older car so more likely to be in worse nick.
They newest motor will be a 2002 marea so thats what I'd aim for.
If its any help heres the part number history - oldest first and the last being the most recent replacement number;

hi mike, where are you based..??,

I did my tipo one back in the day.. pretty sure they used to fill-up with rain water.. :bang:

If they are the same as the marea then they're the same as the coupe. Somebody selling a stitch welded and powder coated subframe on there for £80 I think it was.

The ones on both my coupes are in great nick, ive not really looked at the one on my marea.
Probably the numerous oil leaks of the coupes keeps them from rusting lol.
But check coupes breaking on fccuk or eBay.
