Hello

I have bought the wife a bravo for he 30th but it doesnt have alloys. I was just wondering if I could replace the wheels with 14" punto sporting alloys and just swap the tyres over. According to the tyres on the car they are 175/65/R14 in size.

Is it ok to swap the tyres over. Also if I got 15" alloys what size tyres would I need.

thanks in advance for any help

Ian

Should be fine swapping them over but your speedo will show an incorrect speed if different size tyres are used.

Also, 15, 16, 17 and 18's will fit on a bravo. I have 15's on mine with 195/50/15's on.

To work out how much your speedo will be out use the calculator on the bravo-guide at http://www.bravo-guide.co.uk/tyres.htm

Loda of pics of bravo's on that site too with diff size wheels. Have a ganders at http://www.bravo-guide.co.uk

you need at least 15" alloys. 14's look rubbish. 185/55/15 came as standard on some bravos, but 195/50/15's are cheaper. a little bit fatter and essentially the same size

thanks for advice guys.

will have a look at sites and keep my eye out for some 15"

cheers

Ian

I have tyres the same size as Wimmys on mine. Third party alloys don't often come in a Fiat fitment but if it's close enough can be made to fit with different bolts/ spacers and are often cheaper and better looking than Fiat options.

Hi go to [www.tyresave.co.uk] and clk tyres when in the tyre section on the bottom of the page you will see check tyre ratios, in new page on the top line enter current wheel and size on bott line enter new size and tyre profile and this will do it for you .
