Hi folks, a friend of mine has a 2001 Bravo 1.6 16v SX showing the following fault codes P0105 P0110 P0115 AND P0340
I think the first 2 codes refer to a faulty MAP sensor, I have a same year Marea 1.6 16v with no faults
So my question is, can i try the MAP sensor from my car to see if it clears the codes... if so is it easy to do?
I thought i would ask here first as I dont wanna bugger up anything on my car swapping bits around, but do wanna help her :)
Thanks

Those are all circuit malfunction codes:
P0105 Manifold Absolute Pressure Circuit Malfunction
P0110 Intake Air Temperature Circuit Malfunction
P0115 Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit Malfunction
P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

Could very well be a dirty plug somewhere, or a corroded chassis mass connector.

thanks for the replys, hopefully will get a look at the car next week, noe that all of the snow is going :)
On the Bravo (1.6 SX 16v year 2001) the diagnostic socket is underneath the fusebox at the drivers side of the car, i looked in same place on the Marea (100 16v year 2000) but the socket is not there...any idea where it could be? thanks

If it's early 2000 it might not have an OBD2 socket yet. It would have a fiatscan cable somewhere near the main fusebox in the engine bay, against the firewall, if that's the case
