as title explains really the handle on the passenger seat to let a passenger in the back of the car has desided not to work today,
(the seat slides and locks into place as normal so there are no other problems)

now i have used the search button and found guides as to stripping the seat down after taking it out but it seams a little extreme for such a trivial thing,

what should i look at first is there anything i can do from the back seat?
im sure this is quite a common problem, thanks

in my case iv found you can reach up the side from the back (gearbox side) and push the release bar up on the offending side and the seat will tilt,

it seams not to be releasing fully on that side by just a mm or so,
a shame really it doesn't justify taking the whole seat out and cover off just for that im not really interested in fitting heated seat mats,

at least i can still let people in the back
