hi guys i have a 1997 fiat brava 1.8 elx and was wondering if anybody knows it it would have remote central locking?? the key i have is blue with a small button on 1 edge, also i have a very small key that has a socket in a panel below steering wheel just marked on/off, if i have remote locking any idea how to re-code the key to it? cheers guys

does the key flash red when the button is flashed?

if no check the battery? whilst inside the key check the button on the cuircuit is still attached, they fall off and need re-soldering on. either way once the bat or the button is fixed it should just carry on working no coding needed.

if the light is flashing but the doors arnt locking (and they work by manually locking) then it could be a code issue and its in the manual, or do a search it will come up straight away.

yes the red light on the key flashes, but nothing happens, but i can unlock the car with the key, i have been told that if it needs repairing to the car i need the code which was on a tag with one of the other keys, i do not have this tag does this mean i have no way of pairing the keys with the car???
