Hi to all...

I have problem with seat pressure sensor in my Brava ''99, 1.6 16V. It have 4 airbags. Two time i removed fault code, and technician told me that seat pressure sensor is malfunctioning. So, is there any way to emulate this sensor (emulate as occupied seat, not empty), like someone do with airbags? Is there any scheme for that, how to fix it, because new sensor is very expensive?

Thank you

Yes, you only need resistor with same resistance as sensor value when someone is sitting. (1,45k ohm). I case of accident all 4 air-bags will be activated eventhough noone is sitting next to you.

So it's not that complicated. So, the resistance in this sensor (in Brava) is constant, in Stilo it's little bit different, isn't it? I heard that you need some electric part to simulate that sensor, bur resistance is not constant like mine?

Thank you for the answer

Hello,

I have the same problem on my Bravo 1.2, 16V, 1999, airbag (BREED MY97 Airbag (2F-2L-S).

So I am looking for a cheep solution for this problem and what you have described is very well if it will work.

My question is, dos it work in praxis?

The resistor price is only about 1 dk.

Best Regards

Mogens from Denmark.
