hi my brava still wont start ive tried a lot of things new battery new crank sensor ive been advised it could be the fuse box and wiring have taken in water as there was a slight leak on the driver side and also been told it could be a loose earth wire i had a new one fitted a few months ago but this may have worked loose does anyone have any opinion on this problem any help would be very appreciated

try pressing the fuel cut off switch under the passenger seat. Sometimes it can pop up and will stop fuel getting to the injectors. Also check to see if you have a spark at the plugs. Does the code light go off on the dash too? Check all fuses and look for any signs of corrosion

hi the fuel is getting thru ok but there is no spark at all considered replacing coil pack but was told definately wont be that more likely damp in fuses

Hi. Do you have access to a Multimeter. You can check the resistance of the coil and that will tell you if it's faulty or if there is voltage getting to the coil. Also one of the earth bonding straps could be broken. You could try taking a jump lead from the negitive of the battery and put it the other end of the lead on the engine block close to the coil and crank the engine. If that fails spray WD40 on all the ht leads and make sure they are connected securly to the plugs and coil. If that fails it may be a case of checking all the fuses. I think there are 3 fuse boxes in total on the Bravo. Hope this kind of helps. My car wouldnt start for 3 weeks and I found it was needing new spark plugs.

hi ive tried most of those things i had someone put a multimeter on the coil pack but this was after i had taken it orr the car and he said it wasnt pushing any voltage out havnt tried replacing plugs yet where is the 3rd fuse box i know one is under bonnet the other under drivers dash .i did get a coil p-ack from a scrappy but the lad in there said it wont be coil pack to get hairdreir on the fuse box and wiring

The other fuse box is in the glove compartment. You have to screw the backing off to gain access to it.

The coil pack should have 12V live to it with ignition on, its the earth thats switched, so check for continuity at the pack.

thanks for all the help finally got my baby sorted sone idiot had put the injection fuse in the wrong place started straitaway only problem now front wipers not working

Maybe the fuse was for the wipers, put another fuse in place were the injection system fuse was put in wrong.
