Hey guys, sorry i'm a newbie!
I have a 1.6 16v Bravo i recently purchased, it has been going fine and last month past its' MOT no problems....

NOW it usually takes about 5-10 tried to get the engine running, the first time there are no lights, everything is normal it just keeps turning over...just the engine wont start, after it fails the first time the injector light comes on - and i have to keep turning it on and off (not good for my CC!!) until it eventually starts. It's gradually built up over the last few weeks, from being an occasional problem to being every time, and taking 10+mins to turn on. The inertia switch is fine, i don't think it's a problem with the HT leads...any ideas!! Thanks!

(Also it has a clifford concept 300 alarm/immobilizer)

I reccomend to read fault with FIAT tester. You can also measure resistance of ignition coil.

But test's cost money! Think have found problem forgetting that the crank sensor of course turns the fuel pump off when not requiring the car to start, and not allowing fuel to get through until on the 20th try it eventually gives up trying to protest. Let's see how fitting a new one goes!

I agree but it is the cheapest option. Do not spend any money for buying sensors, etc. if you are not sure. If injector light is on, tester will read the fault. Fault code reader will be enough for this job, too. But when you will have the fault code, do not change sensor ,... imediately. Check wiring, fuses for this circuit at first.
If you have multimeter, you can test some things yourself. Measure resistance of ignition coil (2 circuits and at connector), measure resistance of crank sensor, its distance and connector
