That hose is for fuel vapour intake. On 1.6 bleeding points are: bottom hose to the radiator, in hose leadeing to internal heater and small-diameter hose on thermostate housing. There is also 1 screw next to starter motor which allows you more complete draining.

is it supposed to be not connected to anything??

so that makes it 4 screws?

is the location of the screws in 1.6 diffrent from that in a 1.2 ??
because my car originally had the 1.2 engine and has been swapped with the 1.6 i'm not sure if the radiator been swapped also or not but i don't think so

I was able to locate 2 screws i think that's enough to bleed the system

anyway what about that hose where is it supposed to be connected to??

Hi

All I have for bleed screws, on the 1581cc is;

The pipe that is not connected to anything is for the fuel evaporation system as fiat37 said. You can see in this diagram how it should connect to a carbon trap under the right front wing.

I noticed your air intake resonator has been cut off and plugged up here.

This is part of your aircon system

thanks Adrian
please if you can explain more, what is the use of this fuel vapour intake?? and is it harmful to be not connected?? because i can't find the carbon trap

also what about this intake resonator?? whats its use??

sorry for asking so many questions but I'm kinda new to cars

The intake resonator is simply there to reduce noise from the air intake sucking in air.

Have you looked under the right wheel arch liner? Thats where the canister should be.

nah its not anywhere .. the car indeed makes loud noise when running i thought that was normal
what about that fuel vapour intake??

In some conditions engine management uses fuel vapours instead of firing injectors and fuel consumption improves a little. I think they did not mount vapour reservoird when transplanting engine. Ensure that hole for upper resonator do not suck any air bypassing air filter.
