we have just bought a bravo 1.8 hlx (t)reg. for my wife to use. i noticed that behind both sun visors was damp.further investigation showed that the sunroof had been sealed with a thin bead of clear silicone. i dropped the front of the headlining down, removed the drain hoses and flushed through with both an air-line,and agarden hose.as water was coming out from below the car,i thought i,d cleared any blockage, and all would be ok,as was the case for a couple of weeks.however, the monsoons of the last couple of days means a return of the leaks. any ideas folks please? i am reluctant to re-seal the sunroof, but would prefer to sort the leak.

Adrian will give you some advice im sure, he is the master of the sunroofs lol

Haha in a way, I just sealed mine shut because I wish I didnt have one.
:p That worked perfectly ofcourse

Royal have a look around the gutter and see if the wiring harness clips are pushing the gutter down at an angle. I did have a leak in the same place it was down to one blocked pipe and that clip pushing the gutter down.

thanks adrian. for now i have sealed the roof and removed the fuse,to avoid any senior moments. i will have a thorough look at the problem next spring. very impressed with this website though, very helpful posts on a wide range of subjects.
