I have a W reg Fiat Bravo 115 HLX. Car runs fine but sometimes when the throttle is not fully down it stutters and judders, the car "kangaroos" down the road. Never happens when on full throttle only around half down.

Any ideas what this could be as its embrrasing and makes me look like a learner driver.

does the kangarooing happen when you take the foot off the accelerator padal?
if so than the stepper motor is probably at fault.

Kangarooing can be caused because of bad engine earthing points. You can chekck this easyly with multimeter. Look for guide in Guides\Stilo section

hm, seems you have same problem that I had. I my case i needed to clean big black connector just behind the battery (wires for fuse-box).
