Hi,
I bought fiat marea 1.3 (it had "Brava Engine" as my dealer said)
Problem start from 1 month ago backfiring, uncomplete combustion ,only 2 or 3 cylnders are working.
When i remove Spark plugs, i found that they r not clean and covered by heavy carbon  (is it mean uncomplete combustion)
i bought new spark plugs, the car work great for about 20 min then the problem start again.
The last thing i found that the spark start at the cable not at the sparkplug, 2 of the 4 cables had a holes in it.
I ask all fiat delears about the cables, but they said that they didn't have it. :( , and they will not bring them in those days, because "FIAT Company" is Join "Another Company" -->I don't know what they mean.
I try to cover the cables with an old wheel rubber, it works fine for a while, then problem start again :bang:
May be the problem is not the cables .
Suggesting anything?!
note:i try to reset the ECU more than one time, but no change.

whelcome to the forum :)
you should be able to get new cables from any good car parts shop, they are not a fiat dealer(garage) only part. if you want to search the web or ebay for some we call them HT leads ot spark plug leads here.
these people may have some http://www.shop4parts.co.uk/

edit: i dont think there is a bravo 1.3 here 1.2 and 1.4 and bigger

if you open the bonnet and run the engine in the dark and look at the leads you may see sparks jumping to ground around the engine.new leads are cheap enough and always worth a change.i get the orange ones from helfords.think they called hot wires/or the like.just change 1 at a time so you dont mix em up.

Thanks for fast replays, the problem is that i'm not sure if the cables are the problem or not, @rich i will try what u said.
Another question, can this problem hapen due injectors problems ?!
Thanks, and keep working in this Great Forum.
