1.2 16v 3dr Bravo W reg 86K

Got through the MOT with only a worn tyre replacement. (y)

Anyone got advice on fixing a permanently on air bag light? Is it the contacts under the seat like the Multi?

needs the codes read at a dealer and if they can clear them if it stays on needs ecu/wirring/airbags checked

theres nothing under the seats on most bravos unless you have side bags as an option very rare in uk

you most likely have 1 or 2 front airbags only so quite a simple system to check also have a look at the ecu under the centre console and it's earthing point next to it they might have been leaked on buy a leaking heater matrix that's quite common and recks them

Cheers Sultan I will take a butchers under the console. I think it does have side airbags, its that fancy Trofeo number. Runs beauytiful.

Rear screen washer dont work but probably needs a clean through.

I was going to clean the fuel sistem with Forte quarter tank of petrol. Would you recommend?

no fuel cleans the fuel system forte fuel adative just adds more detergents to the fuel cleaning carbon off the engine pistons valves and so on but fuel already has adatives to do this more of them will clean oil from the bores and wear the engine quicker so no never use it

all your engine needs to be clean is good quality oil new plugs and a right good kicking high combustion tempratures and standard fuel is all it needs

we use to run a fiat uno 1300 non turbo track car at the garage i work for theres a picture in my gallery of it it was highly tuned running about 100hp 1500 cams retarded to raise power band to 8500rpm 2 litre croma carburettor

it had it's oil changed every race and reved to over 8000 most of the time and it was completely spotless inside sergically clean steel and alloy everywere

the 1.2 16v engine you have is apsolutely solid and rev happy if i remember the one i used for a wile limitered about 6800 or nearly 7k not exactly sure and it loved every bit of it was a very fast car for it's engine sise fun to drive now i'm back in an 1800 hlx again more my style

your rear screen wash pipe will have come off inside the boot it's a bravo thing lol
