Hi, I recently purchased some bosch spark plugs from camberly auto factors for my 2.0 20V HGT. When I was replacing them I noticed their very slightly longer. Will this be a problem, havent started the car yet cause unsure. I took them back and they said there definately the right ones. Can anybody please give me the correct plug number for this engine, as to what type I need. I'm a bit worried that there hit the pistons. The original ones taken out are champion RC8BYC and the ones they have given me are Bosch super plus, Yttrium Electrode, FR7 LDC+.
Thats all the numbers I can find any help here please.
Thanks
kevin

All the part numbers refer to the same plug, I have an NGK catalogue so have cross referenced the numbers into NGK.

All coming up with BKR6EKC or stock number 2848. And BKR6EKC is listed for the Bravo 2.0 20v regardless of age.

How much longer are the plugs?

Hi, sorry about the delay there about 2.13mm longer. My Guess is there be Ok. Checked on line and they do list Bosch FR7 LDC+. As recommed replacement plug. But still feel a bit uneasy about them.
Regards
kevin
