Posts: 7 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Bonnet release Ive just tried to release my bonnet to fill the washers up on my bravo but the release handle has come off.!!!! Luckily it is still attatched to the cable. I have found the bracket that it goes onto and put it back on but the cable seems too long and it is not releasing the bonnet even tho it is still pulling tight. Any ideas????? Its doing my swede in

Posts: 40 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: Bonnet release deffinately a last minute thought on these cars - theyre so badly and cheapily made - all the ones in the scrap yard are the same- how yours is - they stick easy too - mine never releases properley - no how to fix it though

| | Re: Bonnet release Get someone to lift the bonnet as you pull the release handle. The mechanism should be regularly serviced and the spring is adjustable. It might be worth considering a replacement mechanism on a car that is 10+ years old. | ||
