Posts: 320 Thanks: 6 Trader Rating: 0 | Sidelight wire colours on for Marea headlights Just fitted Marea poly's to my 97 hgt but just wanted to check the sidelight wire colours to rewire to the Marea sidelight holders in the guide it shows black and orange just wonderin if this was the correct coloured wires Cheers

| | Re: Sidelight wire colours on for Marea headlights Just been out to have a look, and this is how it is on mine, Drivers Side - Yellow with Red Tracer coming off the wiring loom into Yellow with Black Tracer into the sidelight. Passenger Side, Yellow with Black Tracer coming off the wiring loom, into Yellow with Green Tracer into the sidelight.

Posts: 320 Thanks: 6 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: Sidelight wire colours on for Marea headlights Does anyone have any idea what could stop my drivers side Marea poly from moving up and down as I changed motor but still nothin its in the complete down position, the passenger light moves up and down freely with no problem at all any ideas would be great cheers

| | Re: Sidelight wire colours on for Marea headlights On top of the motor is a white plastic screw to adjust the height. You could turn it with a scredriver to see if the mechanical parts are moving ok. Sounds like you have a few spare motors plug one in and see if it spins when someone adjusts it. The arm on the end of the motor has a little ball joint, is it in the socket properly? | ||

Posts: 320 Thanks: 6 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: Sidelight wire colours on for Marea headlights Tried 3 separate motors today all workin properly but not movin the light at all and the light wouldn't note manually either, is there any mechanism in the light unit itself that could break, plus is there any way I could move the light upwards by hand ?
