Hi guys. The other day my central locking and alarm stopped workin when I pressed the button on the key, I thought it might be batteries in the key cause I couldn't remember when I last changed them, but even with new batteries in the key still nothin anyone any ideas what could be causing this, cheers guys

So that means that it won't be that then  You checked it?

No not checked it but surely flat battery would mean car wouldn't start and low battery would mean car would struggle to start and I would have issues with other systems on car, central locking works from passenger side door but just not from key !
Everythin else is working perfectly apart from the central locking and alarm from the key !

i have exacly the same problem m8 have u managed 2 sort it or does ant 1 else no what 2 do

The master key / blue key sequence is for the immobiliser only, nothing to do with central locking/alarm.
Test as follows:-
push button on key, if red led flashes, then key is ok.
push button on receiver, if green led flashes, receiver is ok.
If c/l does not operate when key button is pressed, then key and receiver are out of sync.
You need to re-load in the key to make it work,- you need the unlock code to re-load it in. This is usually discarded by the original owner and no copy of it is kept by Fiat.
The code can be recovered from the key, email me if you want help.
Tony.

just tried receiver green led flashes, and red led on key flashes so am presuming both are ok, have tried to recode following instructions in manual but no luck as yet, has anyone got any ideas on what to do, could i go to a key shop and get the blue key coded using the red key ?? am stuck on this one

cheers

i have the red key and the blue key bothe the key And the recever flash i think i have the code for my key what do i do

Bravotony- Key shops can only help with the immobiliser,
:nono: NOT THE REMOTE :nono:

All codes are 4 digit and octal ie none over seven, typical code is 7. 0. 3. 4.

Press receiver pb and release.
Wait for green marker pulse, then press pb number of times of first digit.
Wait for next marker, and enter all 4 digits in same way.
If you have a zero in code, then do nothing until the next marker pulse.
If code is correct green led will flash.
Whilst it flashes push pb on receiver and hold in, push pb on remote and hold in for 10 secs.
If code is correct receiver green led will stay on for a few secs.
Remote will now work.
