hey guys,

don't ask me how, but one of my sidelamp bulbs got loose and fell inside the headlight ! it is very annoying as it can be seen from the outside

is it ok to remove the 'glass' of the headlight, get the bulb out, use some sealer to close it up again? also, I tried removing the headlight but had some difficulty disconnecting it from the wings side... only manage to unscrew the two bolts on the top. any tips pls?

thanks.

Hello

It will be far far easier to remove the light from the car and shake the bulb out.

take the two bolts off and use something like a small spanner to pry the lights ball joint form the wing. You can see the ball joint on the end of this light, it pops out easily with the right movement.

The Marea headlight has to be heated to soften the glue, I think the standard Bravo light is the same. then you will need to scrape off the glue and buy new selant. Far easier to just take the light off and shake out the bulb. (y)

hey adrian,

thanks a lot for your reply. I think i still have to remove the glue and open the headlight, as the hole from where the bulb is placed is very narrow and is tight fit.

will try shaking it out first.

thanks again

will be trying it out most probably tomorrow evening, if time + weather permits. I cant leave the job undone as it's the only ride i have.

will keep u updated :) thx
