right guys,was wondering if anyone can point out where this goes..Got my box in today (what a ballache!) got it mounted up (have lost 2 bolts lol) but cannot think where this went.
Can anyone point this out?

Looks similar to a support rod in my old Croma Turbo that held the battery box up.

Hi i think it goes on the bottom rear engine mount to the gearbox as a brace i shore when i did my engine change it had this.

yep, it goes from the block to the gearbox by the diff IIRC.

i would have a look for you but i know its not there on the turbo model, if you cant figure it out let us know and i'll see if i can find a pic of where it should be.

Thanks Ry .i knew it came off the box but cant think where lol So its to the block by the diff.If you can get a pic up itll help easier lol

That looks like a fantastic addition the your 'bits I'm keeping but don't quite now why' box. Well done!!

lol yer,its only that part that has baffled us we still not got it on as cant think where it goes lol

Got most other parts on this mornin: Inlet (what a pain due to room,thankgod my mate got small hands lol) had to pinch a few bolts of old engine and also swapped the torx screws for allen screws on the injector rail,thats now in and with injectors (Altho 1 injector wouldnt sit flushed like the others,had a tiny gap .,A few sensors behind block,starter wired up now,clutch slave cyl and selector (clutch tried and workin).spark plug plugs attached,.
Just need to connect the driveshafts back up to the wheels (1 was a pain as the os shaft goes thru the rear mount).The round mount that sits on the sunbframe needs to connect back up (once engine is back up and straight),Alternator,rad,pipes and loom and also air intake and battery
Had to cut it short today so should be done tomorrow hopefully.

Just need fluids after that.oh and mot'in,insuring and taxin lol
