I'm in need of some inspiration!

So I was thinking a thread with examples of different mods ?

Heres my contribution

Tinted rear lights, coz i think they look cool as fudge

Two tone wheels... an aquired taste

Your go... Id like to see things to do with polyeliptical lights, front grilles, and spoilers too

You need marea plastic handles. colour code them maybe that orange.

I like the tinted lights I think they suit yours because its silver. Are they still usefull as lights though :p I like those marea wheel aswell

You can fit Bravo 2007 washer jets if yours are a bit pies. your numberplate is a bit mouldy, cant wait to replace mine someone cracked my front one and its gone all black.

Noticed in your garage you might paint the grill black. Ive seen two cars like that and it looks crap to be honest.

Personally i'd simplify it and give it a clean crisp look

wheels in graphite, with a high gloss 2k lacquer, or deep dish wheels would look
lower it 40 odd mm
colour coded handles ( agree with Adrian) however not orange though.
new number plate
paint mirrors in same graphite high gloss as wheel suggestion.
de badge back end.
lose mud guards
a nice 2.5 - 3" exhaust
subtle skirts similar to HGt design or smooth.
front bumper splitter, seat ibiza or similar, colour coded silver.
clear or tinted side repeaters
smoothed front grill or colour coded

The front of the bravo would look great copying cues from VW golf and scirocco
black head lights and a black grill between them

I got plastic handles already! Mines the newer brava.

My lights still seem to work fine, Only thing is in bright sun they are a little harder to see. I used to be able to use my reverse light to see a little in the dark, doesnt work so much now.

Any ideas where I can get 2007 washer jets? Do they fit well? Mine are useless, I've given up on them now and just wash my windows regularly... I'll clean them out for the MOT but they really get on my nerves!

Number plate I completely agree on! Next time I'm gonna get one without holes and stick it on, hopefully less chance of it changing colour.

With regards to the badge, I'm literaly about to do that, I debadged it earlier today, was gonna do the rear first. How did you do it? I'm unsure what paint to use, whether to hand paint it or not, should I use primer etc.
Also, hows the front badge attached? is that just glue too?

Cheers for the contribution :D

You have expensive taste :p

As tidy as graphite might look, I think orange is a whole new level of class!
Mud guards I will get rid of this weekend. (also, I had tiny little front mud guards... but ive never seen them on another brava... whats with that?).
I'll tint the side repeaters when I get a chance too :D

Car is already lowered 40mm if not lower. When you say colour code handles... silver? coz if I did that, then I reckon id haveto do the bump strips too, then It would lose the whole silver/black thing I got going on.

Smoothed Front grille, would that be on a marea one?

Could you get me a pic of the ibiza splitter you mention?

Cheers!

I agree with everything bridges said there it would look ace.

There are hard plastic handles and rubber handles the rubber ones rot away into a slimey mess but the hard plastic ones can be colour coded and are much nicer.

When I painted my badge I just used acrylic semigloss black spray paint. My badge was already dry and faded so all I did was lightly sanded the blue part then masked off one section painted it then did the next. Its about 3months since and its still perfect.

Alternatively Autoglym bumper care gets the blue colour back, also good for seatbelt release buttons.

I've always had a soft spot for this Brava...

I'd also change them wheels as they aren't the nicest looking wheels. (never liked any Marea alloys).

Cheers!

I have my own workshop and spray equiptment :D

@ Joske, that is how I was thinking, however the tints look
Nice work on the front bumper too.
wheels actually look really good in shiny silver.

@ Brava_SXY, you could still leave rubbing strips black, would emphasise the lights and strips more with handles in silver.

I'd paint the marea handles black or similar cuz they would go better with the dark lights/bump strips. Get some smoked side repeaters too these will look smart. Id love to go the dark light, handle, badge route but my brava is red so wouldnt look as good

Removed my badges yesterday, today I painted the fiat one black - I havent done a great job, but I did the fiat one first coz I know I can just get another one from the scrappy off one the many front ended puntos.

(appologies for rubbish pictures)

I used matt paint... I reckon I could probably do with sanding again and repainting.

Also today I took off my rear mud flaps (these streamlined ones catch a lot of mud in them!).
Theres a little shape in the plastic behind them, never knew it existed.

I'm gonna see if I can pick up some clean plates soon too. Dont want any names numbers flags screw holes or anything, just my reg.

Wouldnt mind doing my handles, but it seems a lot of work/money for little gain. If the colours didnt match, it would then be a waste of money.

Joske - that brava you posted I really do like the look of! I noticed some bravo/as came with the bottom grille painted black - I wouldnt mind DIYing this on mine and moving the number plate lower. Thing is theres a cut out of the bumper for the plate, so I dont wanna haveto modify the shape.

Any ideas where I can get a splitter like that to fit mine? And the little side skirts.

I would like some nice wheels - But the marea ones are free and I'm very grateful for them. Found him on my local forum - but i think hes on here too Claymore2k. Hes been amazingly generous giving me wheels and springs for free. The two most important parts of my car so far.
