| | Re: Fixing My 1.4 Bravo Engine Misfire Its been fantastic so far the car has so much power there are no flat spots like before, exhaust has a real nice sound now. I suppose I should make a members motor thread this one has come to a happy ending. ![]() I spent all day tidying things up. I washed the car then started to get serious on the roof. It had small murky patches of lacquer I think from bird poo. Clayed the roof then used Autoglym paint renovator on the bad bits then another wash and then wax. It looks amazing I cant wait to wax the rest of it. I bought a new front number plate today, totally plane. Might get a rear one aswell tomorrow. Ill get pics soon. | | Re: Fixing My 1.4 Bravo Engine Misfire Thanks Stephan. Someone offered me £1000 for the car a few days ago and people are always saying it looks nice ![]() Their is a members motor thread aswell I just read the whole thread again and looked over the pictures. Enigne with the new clutch on is nice and engine in the bay with pistons showing is nice, the picture from underneath is nice showing the sump Think I will get all my car pictures printed somewhere. It was hard work, I did have a small shed to work in. If I did it again I would take the block and head somewhere to be cleaned, unless I had a cleaning tank. I should have replaced the crank sensor for what it cost. Though when it fails it wont be too hard to change. | ||
