just had the cluch replaced on my 99 bravo 1.4 12v.had a few problems with the engine management light but it turned out it was just a bad earth...thought that wud b the end of the problems but reversed outa my drive the other day and noticed there was hardly any bite at all..had my foot firm to the floor on the clutch and the car stalled with a grinding noise..seemed to affect the brakes too as they didnt seem to wana work at all..then the clutch stayed flat on the floor till i started the car again..managed to get her back in the drive again and tried it again yesterday..same thing!so ive left her in the drive until i hav an idea wot it is....slave cylinder possibly???any help very welcome guys!!cheers!

Slave cylinder. first go top up your brake fluid. the reservoir supplies both brake and clutch, I bet it is nearly empty.

have a look at the slave cylinder. It is on top of the gearbox. you will probably see a leak of fluid.
hope this helps.

the resovoir is just below the minimum level so i topped it up!gona get it looked at 2moro..hopefully thats the problem anyway...thanks mate!
