i recently bought a bravo 1.9 tdi with the factor alarm i have sourced a curtsey light with the remote central locking unit built in and have the key for the unit, i have fitted it but it does not remotely unlock/lock the car. could any one please shed some light on my problem thanks mikey.

Push the button on the receiver, if it flashes then power is getting there, if not check for a fuse not installed.
Press button on remote, LED will flash if key is ok.
If power to receiver is ok, then pushing remote button should light the LED on receiver, if not then key is out of sync. If it lights up then the problem is with the connections/power to door lock actuator.
Tony.

That aint going to work. You need the relay box, the alarm unit etc. Your missing many parts.

If you want remote central locking do a search on this forum for a Meta M20 i have provided links to where you can buy them from.
