Here are a couple of similar ones on ebay.

Will these fit mine? They look different. Will I need a rubber gromit to go between the pump and washer bottle? Or does the pump fix straight onto the bottle?

Cheers.

There are loads of Bravo/a's in the scrap yards you will get one off a scrap car for a couple of quid or just put it in your coat pocket.

You will know your getting a direct fit then.

One off a Punto or a Cinq might fit aswell.

The only trouble is 1. finding the time to go scrapyard and 2. the nearest scrappy that has any fiats in it is over 30 miles away, i'd much rather order the part and have it delivered.

The one in the top link is probably worth the money as the other is used for similar money.

There will already be a rubber seal in the washer bottle, the pumps intake pipe is a few cms long and you just fit it directly through the hole in the rubber seal. Thats it. Check the old seal isn't still attached to the old pump. If you can't see the rubber (black in colour) you will need a new one.

And avoid putting washing up liquid in your screenwash bottle next time! ;)

Thanks guys :) Bought the new one! I'm sure i'll be back once it fails the MOT on something!! hehe

No offense but who the heck does that!

Can you image the bubbles. LOL

No offence taken but you would be surprised how many people do it, AND wash their cars with the stuff! 3 neighbours that I know of and there is only 14 houses in the close I live in. Thats a 5th of the population maybe doing it lol!

I've heard of people washing cars with washing up liquid but never adding it to screen wash. It'll put a thin film on the windscreen and make it extremely difficult to drive. Very dangerous.

People been using washing up liquid for years, before the days of cheap screen wash, a couple of drips in your washer bottle use to do wonders, those who did not put just water in, as a young man most of my street did it including me escpecially in winter, apart from the rich people who could afford to have a service in the local garage.
Last time I was in Latvia the locals where using anti freeze in their washer bottles.
Washing car in washing up liquid is a bit differant, especially in the good old days when cars where painted in celulose based paints as they would go flat very quickly, now though all cars are water based with a clearcoat finishes, even the solid colours so much better, but again car shampoo is so cheap now you may as well use it, I mean 1Ltr of Turtle wax shampoo is now £1.99, I can remember that never being under a fiver.
I also use Mr Sheen on my plastics, far better than the car crap they sell that gives lustre and shine which then dazzels you in the sunlight due to light bounce off the dash.

For those who dont know...and I'm sure you do Thrisey.
Washing up liquid is FULL of SALT!

Pump arrived, straight swap :) works perfectly! I always use water with some anti freeze (the stuff designed for your windscreen wash, bought a big 2.5 litre bottle from tescos!)

Now for the MOT...
