My heated rear windscreen has stopped working and the rear wiper and the boot light but i have checked fuses. They were not blown but changed them anyway but still nothing. Any ideas?

Open the boot and find the 4 metal contacts on the left hand side of the boot lid, give them a rub with a bit of scotchbrite or wet and dry and check the contacts on the top of the boot opening as well, should sort the problem out!

or as silly as it sounds you dont have a jacket or blanket in the boot covering the contacts....

Thanks all but it was worse than that. I took off the contact plate to find that the wiring behind had burnt and melted. Went to fiat, where a helpful man checked my diagnosis but said new plate and wiring would sort it. Fiat wanted £20.00 for plate and £30.00 for wiring. Went to a scrap yard this afternoon and got a plate and enough wiring to patch it for £2.00!. It is now on and working. Whoopee
