So basically i brought a aftermarket alarm and fitted it the other day, the alarm works perfectly apart from the central locking part which i havent fitted yet.

I just tried to fit it and it seems simple enough, it just joins onto 3 wires in the O/S door, but heres my problem!

The alarm has to be wired to the Lock wire, Unlock wire and the common wire.
I have a list of fiat wires and it says bravo Lock/Unlock wires are Blue/White but it doesnt say anything about the common line!

so how will i find out what wire is what? also do i wire it up near the actual lock on the door (seems to be less wires here as to further down the door near towords the windscreen) or shall i wire it up closer to the hinge of the door? after the wires from the electric windows also join the set?

so my question is really is what colour is the common wire? or how can i find it by eye or using a multimeter?

also whats the differnce between the door harness and door loom?

any help is greatly appreciated!
