3 problems in one and no ideas

I know some will look at this and think this has been asked before but I have looked through hundreds of posts and can’t find anything that could be doing this.

On my Bravo 1.4 (97 model) I am having problems starting the car, not the first time in the morning that will work fine but if I stop and then try to restart the engine without waiting for 10-15mins then it will ether not start or when it does I will have to hold the accelerator down to keep the revs up for about 30secs.
Ok so far I have found posts about starting up but….. When I am also driving the injection warning light comes on and in fact the car seems to drive a bit nicer and the idle speed seems to be running fine. But when the injection turns off say after 15 – 20mins of driving then its like I can feel the accelerator go down a bit without me doing it and if I take my foot of the pedal it will stay at the same speed this will then happen for about 20 secs, if I put the clutch down then it will just rev like crazy for 20 secs. Then most times the injection light will come back on and the accelerator won’t give me any problems again????
Now I think all these things are linked together and hopefully it’s fixable but I have no idea on where to start. As I have taken it to a fiat dealership in Berkshire and they said there where no error codes in the ECU???? Any help or advice you be greatly appreciated.

actually everyone is reading it and thinking its in the wrong section, but dont worry its not your fault fiat recycle car names.

you have 2 problems; a dirty throttle case and a faulty crank sensor. both common, and neither trigger fault codes.

Thanks Kermit, where did you get the crank sensor from and how much?
Hope to get this done this weekend weather permitting.

Also what is the preference for cleaning the throttle body 1: cleaning it in situe or getting a cleaning product that gets added to the fuel??

thanks for any replys

fual additives cant clean the throttlebody, no fuel goes near it. you need to remove the air intake and then remove the throttlebody to clean it on both sides of the butterfly valve. a spray of WD40 on a rag does the job nicely.
