| Interior Rear Panel removal I've searched on here, but can't seem to find any guide on how to remove the rear interior cards/panels on a Bravo. I had a go over the weekend, but I'm getting stuck and removing the the seat belt anchor, which it looks like needs to be removed, as this goes through the edge of the panel. The bolt seems to be incredibly stiff, and although it is undoing, I get so far, and it becomes so stiff that I'm worried it may snap, or worse still start moving the captive socket its bolted into. Of course this could be futile, as I'm hoping to fit a set of 6x9's behind the panel, (similar to how your could on the Uno, and Punto). You get an excellent resonant from the aperture between the panel and wing. It looks like there may not be enough room at the top half of the panel, but on lower half, isn't there quite a large gap? Any help, as always, much appreciated. ![]()

| blessed are the apostates | Re: Interior Rear Panel removal i doubt 6x9s will fit without pods, but even if they didn why bother when you'll get better sound with a set of components and they'll be much easier to fit. when i had mine off i had to remove pretty much everything around them first.

| Re: Interior Rear Panel removal
I'm not averse to removing everything. Just couldn't seem to undo the rear seat belt anchor, without fear of the bolt sheering. Is the gap between the lower rear of the panel and outer wing too shallow to fit 6x9s'? When you mention a set of components, can you expand on that? As I'm not sure what that means. What I'm trying to achieve is better sound in terms of quality and volume. But without it being "on show", in essence I'd like the car to remain looking standard inside. Thanks again for the help. ![]()

components are seperate mids and tweeters connected to passive crossovers. this sounds better than 6x9s and they are also smaller. on a bravo i would get some 5.25" mids fitted where the original rear speakers go, and i would then fit the tweeters on the C pillers, and the crossovers under the shelf. if you want 6.5" instead of 5.25" then you will need to cut holes on the shelf for them, or fit them in the rear card panels. i would also fit components in the front, preferably a matching set same as the rears. here are some good quality yet affordable component sets you should consider.

| Re: Interior Rear Panel removal Jug, thanks again for the tips and advice. And in particular the links for the component speakers. They're quite good value, which sorts another concern, as I didn't want to spend a great deal either. Thanks again. ![]()

| Re: Interior Rear Panel removal don't do the same thing as I did removing the interior, I was to impatient and riped the interior. It is very sentimental ![]()
