| Bravo Injection System Malfunction Hello, I'm not particulalry technical, but hope someone can help me (in words of one syllable!). Had a search for this problem, but couldn't find the exact same one. I have had a Bravo 1.8 16V 1998 for the last 3 years, no real problems, other than what you'd expect for a car of this age, and I love it. However, in the last few weeks the Injection System Malfunction warning light has been coming on, intermittently, usually when I reach around 70mph. Sometimes it will go off (usually once i come down to around 40mph). Other times it won't go off until the engine is switched off. Once the engine is switched on again, the light stays off (unless I go up to 70 again - but sometimes it stays off!) My (un-technical) reading of the owners handbook says that it may, or may not, be an issue and either take it to a dealership, or just ignore it (!) "The temporary or occasional lighting up of the warnig light should be ignored." Is this a known problem and can I safely ignore it, or should I be worried and get it seen to as soon as possible? NB I just drove 250 miles today, with the light on for the most part of the journey. Just when I had decided to book into the garage to get it looked into, the bleeding light went off! Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, Many thanks,

| blessed are the apostates | Re: Bravo Injection System Malfunction when the light comes on it means the ecu is detecting a fault. that could be almost anything, but ignoring it could lead to a worse problem, and one day you may break down on the road side. that can end up costing you a lot more than repairing the fault sooner rather than later. a diagonstic will tell you the fault code(s) which help you understand what the problem is. i would get it diagnosied at a fiat dealer and then you can decide if the fault needs to be fixed or can be ignored.

| Re: Bravo Injection System Malfunction Thanks for both replies. Since I posted the warning light, typically, hasn't come back on! I'll keep my eye on it and think i'll take it to the gargae if it returns for any length of time. Thanks again,
