How do I make my car faster

hey
ive got a 1.4 12v bravo.
to me i think its a little dead on pull off and acceleration
does anyone know any way of making faster
its really bugging me having so little power

Faster car maybe lol only joking.

You can try the following:

stripping out your interior
induction kit
cams
chipping it
exhaust
coilovers and strut braces - alot quicker round corners
alloys - for cornering again
nitrous oxide - abit extreme

or

just put a bigger engine in - alot of work and money

but

the easiest way is a new car

Bigger engine, only option.
1,6-16V.

go 1.8 hlx engine or if you can squeeze it the hgt engine out of the bravo or meara

stop being so stingy

2.0 20v Turbo from the Coupe or nothing

to much work. easier to put it in the hgt.

Like jug said just buy the coupe

i disagree, if your going to faff about trying to get the 20v N/A engine in you might aswell just do the turbo engine.

a medium mechanic should have it done in 2 weeks no problems

service it, 1.4 12v engine is a dog.

its also the cheapest and quickest way.

buy a 1.6 bravo, and then sell your 1.4 to pay for it. if you can get a 1.6HLX then you also get lots of other goodies that the HLX spec has.
