brava headlights

Is it possible to fit MkII punto headlights in a brava or are the Marea lights the only ones that fit?

marea polys are a direct fit, there are the same unit just with a projector lense. The punto units aren't a direct fit and would need a lot of modification to fit them!

which marea has the poly lights and what is the difference in the marea front end compared to the bravo

those headlights came only on higher spec Mareas. It's a common mod on Bravo/as. Fitted polys to mine,
they look much better and they are much better than standard Bravo/a headlights.

The wings are slightly wider on a Marea, different grill, and a different shape bumper. The Marea front end looks more pointed aswell! I personally perfer the Bravo/a front end!

the mare font end has wider outer wings and a wider bumper, the bonnet had a different grill, other than that its the same.

punto mk2 lights would be a nightmare to fit.

arent you thinking about that concept car with the mk2 headlights? there's a thread somewheere but i cant find it (the search is crap)

I once saw a bravo with punto headlights fitted and smoothened grille. Looked really tempting.

No I was thinking of this one, but it doesn't have mk2 headlights so it doesn't matter!

yeah it an MG Xpower SV, and you're right technically it was a production car, although only 64 were made.

And they have fiat-punto headlights???

yeah well it is MG, they couldnt even afford to pay their electricity bill at the time so new parts were out of the question.

saying that i still want an MG ZT CDTi and i look for one every day.

please explain that last sentance to me, I know there must be logic in your thinking.
