Bravo convertible?

Have you ever come across one?

Here are two pics found on HUN bravo fanpage:

Strangely enough there is no mention of this variation neither in Eper or in any other publication I ever saw.

Re: Bravo convertible?

any car can be easily made into a convertible, but the structural rigidity is severely compromised so it isnt safe for road use. in the case of a hatchback you usually need to chop and then weld the bottom half of the hatch on to regain a bit of strength.

Re: Bravo convertible?

That does not look like a garage mod, rather a factory-made custom. Notice the logos on the sides of the two cars.

Fiat used to sponsor team cars for various cycling teams (Pantani was always accompanied by a Marea).

I already saw a factory-made Marea conversion into a cabriolet with a canopy (!!!) to cast shadow on the passengers. These have been used in italy as taxis.
