Hello and some Advice plz :)

Thank you 1986Uno45s for showing me the way here.
quite a big forum.

well id like to say hi to everyone and introduce myself.
my name is Yvette i own a Fiat Brava 1.4 12v and I've had it for about
3 years now and it's never let me down. But as i love messing with engines
I'd like to get it all shining and hopefully change some of the nasty looking
wires especially as some of them if not all are looking corroded at the connection points. I'm doing this in order to get to know my engine inside out.
Best way to learn already changed the thermostat / water pump
new brakes/pads. as they needed changing any way
Dose anyone know where i can get new ones from as they look the same from
local scrap yards. if you now what i mean

thank you

Re: Hello and some Advice plz :)

hi, welcome to the forum

you wont be able to get brand new wiring. fiat dont offer that kind of support for models that are no longer in production.

personally i would leave the wiring alone, it is very easy to create faults when you disturb old wiring so only touch it when you really need to.

the best way to become familiar with your car is to buy a haynes manual. its packed full of info and explanations.
