cars running abit rough when idleing. its had a new coil pack, new water pump, new frnt suspension on drivers side, new plugs, a new HT lead, new cambelt and had the system flushed. i had a lot of problems tht have errupted in the past 3 days lol everything back to normal now its just running a little rougher than say a couple of weeks back. if i took it for a service would it cure the rough idleing? the engine sorta shakes a little. the exhaust also has a little "popping" sound. it just feels weird because it never used to do all this. used to purr like a cat =] now it sh*ts like a bull. so to speak =]

Maybe your cambelt has lost a tooth and needs timing. Go and have it a check.

jst had the cambelt changed though? and it was running rough before i ad the new cambelt fitted
also meant to put had a new starter motor as well

When idling, revs are climbing at once or the engine is sluggish? If so maybe you need to clean your injectors and i dont mean any redex from a car shop but go to a mechanic and let him take off the injectors to clean them by ultrasound method. How many kilometres do you have?

if plugs and leads havent been changed in line with service schedule then get them changed. plenty of probs like this are due to HT leads.

would it be beter to get new ht leads or second hand 1s?

Whats the point of getting second hand HT leads? they could be just as bad as yours or worse. Get new.

your local motorfactor. they may not have them in stock so you'll have to call them first then collect a few hours later.
