Hi, the continuing rising cost of fuel got under my skin so I began looking for ways to save fuel. I came across a Canadian company who sell Supplemental hydogen generating kits for all types of vehicles both petrol and diesel.
The concept is well known and used widely by Nasa as an engine booster in its Rocket Launchers.
Potassium hydroxide mixed with distilled water in a small water tank produces
hydrogen which, via a pump powered by the car battery, is fed into the car engine through the air intake system.
The hydrogen increases flame spread thus using less petrol or diesel.
A 25% to 50% fuel saving is achieved together with less gas emissions, power increase, smoother running engine and less engine wear.
I have ordered one £104.00 (including shipping) to fit to my 2001 Brava 100SX (1596cc)
Does any one know of this system or any drawbacks ?
If any one would like to check it out the company is Canadian so .can comes after its name which is savefuel

Sorry to say but it's a con. Nasa may use similar systems in rockets but they do work in a completely different way to internal combustion engines.
Any Hydrogen generated will be tiny and make no difference to the fuel you use.

You will get a bigger difference by over inflating your tires by a few PSI.
