I own a fiat brava 1.6 16v P reg and all was running fine until one day i noticed that there was a distinct rattle coming from the engine. It seems to be coming from near the timing belt, and only is audible at low revs but is very loud (similar noise to a diesel engine) also there is a clunk coming from the gearbox when idling (probably not related) and just had a timing belt kit fitted which reduced the noise a bit for a while but now is back and not only that the cars tickover seems to shift up and down slightly which didnt occur before the timing belt change. If anyone has any ideas about any of the problems im having please post a reply, thanks.
