I like the sound of them, also liking the chrome one you have your eye on. Sadly the only pictures I can seem to find are of the walnut effect one which is rotten . Does seem a lot of money for so little though doesn't it? Think we could do the same with some tinfoil and scissors?

yeah exactly helz - i saw the same ones - walnut[xx(] doesnt really encourage people to buy them - you would have thought they would have had a sample picture of each type
I was also looking at the facia kits, but for the cost.... They better be good!
1996 Fiat Brava 1.4 SX
15" Fox Racing Evo 6's, Debadged, Evo Spoiler, DTM style front splitter Blades, Blue Varad LED Neons, Vinyl Graphix,
Churchill Nodding Dog..... Ooooh Yes!
On the way...
Side Skirts, rear bumper....
Somethings gotta go wrong 'cos i'm feelin' way too damn good!
ive looked into these for a long time now and basically the kits are sticky sheets of the stuff cut out for the right shape for the areas you want to fit.
i wanted to get the carbon fibre effect one and think il be better of buying a sheet off the stuff for bout £25 and fitting meself.
i remember some1 was selling the kits awhile ago on here. mite be able to get some proper pics of them??..
I've heard people who've had these kits and are not overly complimentary about them !
They are indeed just thun sheets that don't fully wrap round the sides of the centre console fascia. A bit slack for the cash they're asking !
Its cheaper to spray your own and then you get to choose the colour and also you only have yourself to blame if the finish is pants !
Cheaper too
I'm currently in the midst of spraying my bits blue and silver. I mean my interior fascia bits, I wasn't revealing my sordid private life there !
Coming soon, new wheeeels then cu...Sshhhh, don't tell 'em yet !
lol i just noticed you can see my dads van smashed at the front when he went into the back of someone lol.
Helz personally i think it looks good but the colours arent to everyones taste - i dunno yet whether i would do it to my bravo, it just seems so perminant - and the paint is suseptible to being scratched.
Well at least this time round it would match the colour of the car! And if you did it properly with some sort of lacquer over the paint that should reduce the risk of it being scratched? I shall give it some long hard thought, but may go for silver (not chrome though, the 'chrome' paints look naff) in a similar vein to yours. Did you have to pull the door to bits to take off the handles/ winders etc? And was it hard?

I did you a laquar - if you want to do it - i would reccomend buying or borrowing (if you Know a kind bodyshop)some plastic cleaner it strips it and gets rid of all the grease and stuff - it was the winders that did get sratched but in the end i bought some alloy silver and blue handles, which looked a lot better.
yeah its pretty easy to dismantle the door panel inside - have you got winders or electric windows - you may not notice but i also sprayed the front speakers which look really well.
There is a skill in painting (especially plastics) decently and for durability. I wouldn't even consider doing it without learning a lot about it and practising in some way on other surfaces first. Preparation is 80% of the job, patience is 15% and the other 5% is technique.
Anybody can spray something, but not everybody can make it look good/last a while.
The only real people able to do it properly are spray shops in reality although the average person can produce a decent enough finish.
Now tell me something new Paul . I very rarely rush headlong into anything - as you know I tend to wait six months after first considering something before even attempting it.
