Hi everyone. I am new to this forum and would like any kind of help for my problem. I have a Fiat Brava 100SX T reg, bought it in Aug 2007. Ever since i have had to spend quite a lot on this car, including changing the cam belt and recently changing the break pads. Everything is fine except that i am getting a clicking/knocking noise coming from the boot every ttime the ignition is switched on and it remains as long as the ignition is on and even when the car is running. I have got it checked at Nationwide and they told me to change the contact points in the boot, which i replaced with brand new ones, but he problem persists and it is very annoying driving with this problem. Can anyone suggest what might be the problem??? please it is very urgent:confused::confused::confused:

fuel pump. I know the diesels have a mechnical pump on the engine. I assume they have an electronic one to prime the fuel lines.

I had the same problem in my punto, plus the garage told me it was the contacts which was changed like you, which didnt help. Someone also told me it was the fuel pump. But what it turned out to be was a knackered wiper motor, got a new one from a scrap yard for £5 fitted it myself and the problem was gone. Im 99% sure it will be your wiper motor (y)
