Does anyone know if there is a site or company who make vented or louvred bonnets for Brava/o. I have an induction kit which would work better if i had a direct flow of cold air!

Cheers

I saw a company on the web who would punch louvres directly into your bonnet. Cannot find them again at the moment, but hopefully someone else has come across them. :I

these people punch holes in your bonnet, personally i dont like them

i think there are aftermarket bonnets avaialable for a bravo/a, or if you cant find one you can always just get the scoop and have it fitted on

Yeah seen that site before, they are only based in Alton tho and they need the car for the duration, so i dont think that an option for me, unless i go to Alton Towers!

Not really any around here, Aberdeen may be my best bet, will have to go looking. If anyone does see any aftermarket bonnets I'd appreciate their posting the address on this thread. Cheers!

Fatuous response coming up.

<<they are only based in Alton tho and they need the car for the duration, so i dont think that an option for me, unless i go to Alton Towers!>>

Errrr! S'not the same Alton. Alton Towers is about 100 miles too far north (Or Alton's 100 miles too far South, depending on where you are from).

Mad as a fish

Fair enough, didn't realise there was more than 1 Alton lying around the country! :D

I didn't realise you were so far north Croesis - have you just moved up there or were you up there all along and just pretended to be in Aberdeen? Sorry I have nothing useful to add :I

Been here all along but people are more familier with Aberdeen than peterhead!

To be honest, before I got posted up here, I thought of Scotland and Aberdeen as having of valleys, loch's and snowcapped mountains all over the place with only very small isolated populated areas! Now I'm here, its just like down south, only colder, worse weather, and around peterhead, the lingering smell of fish! [xx(]

Nice Toga by the way! ;)

I'd reccomend a 94 model mazda 323 turbo diesel bonnet vent. offset to one side.

why do people assume that to get good air flow a bonnet scoop is needed ? in the lower engined cars it isnt that effective.

the best option for you is to use a samco hose to firstly get your induction kit away from the engine preferably where your air box used to be about 10inces of pipe should do the buisness

and then buy a pipercross cold air feed, you will have FAR better responce from doing that then fitting a bonnet vent, cheaper as well

and what model of induction kit is it ?
